Dehumidification and climate control equipment is used for corrosion prevention in refineries and chemical plants. Originally, dehumidification was being used to lower the humidity and temperature inside tanks during blasting and painting application to prevent rust bloom from appearing on the surface. Today, dehumidification is used for numerous applications in these facilities to prevent some types of corrosion.
